The restaurant-pizzeria is located in the Sassi of Matera, one of the most evocative places in Italy and probably in the world, so much so that it has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We have seats both indoors and outdoors, so we can work during all seasons of the year. All the products used in our kitchens come directly from the best crops located in the Basilicata region.

The experience gained by our chefs,is a the desire to make you try unique recipes of the Lucanian land and the constant updating of our menu are the main strengths of the Morgan restaurant. The wide choice of pasta courses, for example, includes cavatelli with mushroom sauce, pappardelle with wild boar sauce, scialatelli with chickpeas and burned wheat shavings with sun-dried tomatoes, ricotta and walnuts. Even the main courses are of considerable variety, especially as regards meat: from typically Lucan pork sausage to mixed roasts up to the beef steak, in the Morgan you can taste first quality products.
